ADELAIDE, SOUTH AUSTRALIA - A new era in hospitality technology will officially begin on Tuesday, 19 August 2025, as DineLine, Adelaide’s own AI-powered voice ordering platform, is formally launched at a VIP, invitation-only event at Amalfi Pizzeria Ristorante.
The event will feature special guest The Right Honourable Lord Mayor of Adelaide, Dr Jane Lomax-Smith AM, who is lending her public support to a product she believes has the potential to make a real difference for local businesses.
“We know how tough it can be to make ends meet in hospitality,” the Lord Mayor said. “This is technology that’s going to make a positive difference at an affordable price. I still prefer to order by phone, and DineLine’s multilingual capabilities make it even more inclusive for our city’s diverse population".
Built by a local team with global expertise, DineLine is designed to help restaurants handle phone-based orders and reservations using advanced AI. The system will answer calls automatically, understands menu items deeply, and processes orders in real time — freeing up staff and improving customer service.
DineLine operates with no setup costs or commissions. Instead, it offers a low, pay-as-you-go rate of just $3.50 per hour, making it a viable option for restaurants of all sizes.
Hosted by Frank Hannon-Tan, Amalfi co-owner and DineLine spokesperson, the media event will include remarks from business leaders and hospitality figures, including Victor Velgush, MD of Refined Real Estate, and a guest appearance by Rocco DeAngelis, founder of Rocco’s Pizza.
